What does a truck shop foreman do?

The Truck Shop Foreman is responsible for each area of the shop including maintenance, inventory and scheduling.  Their purpose is to keep the shop running smoothly and efficiently to ensure the technicians can maintain peak productivity.  They will coordinate maintenance needs within the facility and with outside vendors, lead and assist staff as needed, oversee parts inventory and manage repair orders.

Plant technician

What does a Plant Technician do?

The Plant Technician is responsible for assisting all aspects of the corncob processing plant as well as truck loading – product transferring.  They will verify that trailers are clean and suitable for loading and know how to weigh trucks as well as keeping the work area clean.  Their objective is to keep the plant running at peak efficiency to maximize output.

Transportation Operations Manager

What does a Transportation Operations Manager do?

The OM is responsible for the overall daily functions and communication to customers and drivers including all relevant shipment information and delivery issues.  Additionally responsible for the overall standards set and maintained in these areas.  

-Work with customers daily regarding load acceptance and delivery times

-Interact with other OM's to secure fleet objectives

-Maintain effective communication with all levels in the company

-Responsible for daily performance of driver, owner operators, and independent contractors.

-Develop, Motivate and Support the fleet to achieve optimal productivity
